Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrive in Manali (By Bus)

On arrival in Manali, check-in to the hotel and relax till afternoon. Grab a quick lunch, post which you test your motorbike and get used to the roads. Go riding on the Himalayan riding premier through the challenging roads along the Kullu Valley. The tricky bends and stretches on the road will help you test the characteristics of the bike and acquaint yourself to handle the motor beast for your entire tour. Enjoy a fun ride to the beautiful Kullu Valley.

Later, come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Manali.

Day 2 : Manali - Jispa (Approx Distance 150 Km)

Wake up early this morning and begin your adventure. Start your ride to Rohtang Pass (3978 meters). The beautiful mountain pass is the gateway to your bike tour. This first leg of your journey is your first challenge as the roads are really bad and the weather conditions are also uncertain. Overcome your first test, after which you will pass through the Lahaul Valley. Lahaul introduces you to the mountains capped with snow all around. Proceed to Jispa, which is your halt for the day. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the mountains. Steamed momos and thukpa are famous traditional Himalayan items for dinner. Fill your stomachs and be off to your well-deserved rest.

Day 3 : Jispa – Sarchu (Approx Distance 85 Km)

Today you drive to Sarchu. As you leave Jispa behind, enter the Greater Himalayan landscape. This highway route takes you into the heart of the mountains. Enjoy the splendid view as you pass through the Baralacha Pass (5000 meters above sea level). Keep driving towards Sarchu which is the border-line between Kashmir and Himachal. From there, get to the Sarchu camp. Relax for the rest of the day and keep a high intake of fluids to keep away AMS (acute mountain sickness).

Day 4 : Sarchu - Leh (Approx Distance 215 Km)

Today is the 5th day of the trip and you will visit Nubra via Khardungla Pass at 18360 ft., one of the world's highest motorable pass. On the way to Nubra, you will take the first break at South Pullu, grab some food and then start your journey again to the Khardung La. Take pictures and get a feel to standing at one of the world's highest passes. The next stop will be North Pullu. Take some rest and eat something. On the way to Nubra, you will visit the Diskit Monastery. The Maitreya Budha statue which is 32 m high can be seen far from here. Nubra is famous for sand dunes and two-humped camels. Take a camel ride in the evening and return to the camp.

Day 5 : Nubra Valley - Pangong Lake (Via Shyok River) (Approx Distance 190 Km)

Wake up early and enjoy the enchanting natural sceneries. Freshen up and enjoy the breakfast. Later, begin your drive to the Pangong Lake alongside the River Shyok. Enjoy the picturesque beauty on the way. Stop at Durbok and enjoy lunch. After a halt, you will proceed towards Chang La (5500 meters above sea level) and go forward to the army checkpoint at Tangse. Upon your arrival at the campsite, check in to your tents. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. You can stroll around the Lake and spend some quality time in nature with yourself. Pangong Lake is the largest high altitude brackish water lake in the world. The 2/3rd portion of the lake lies in China. Enjoy the sunset from the lakeshore and have a great time stargazing.

Day 6 : Pangong Lake - Leh (Approx Distance 150 Km)

After having a delicious breakfast early in the morning, you can enjoy the photo-session around the lake and spend some quality time there. Later you will head towards Leh. On arrival Leh, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Later, you can go on a sightseeing tour of Leh. You can shop at bazaars and visit the Shanti Stupa, the Buddhist white-dome huge structure which overlooks Changspa. Enjoy a great view of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar range. Roam around in the street of the Leh. The markets are very vibrant and you will love the energetic vibes of the Leh.

Day 7 : Leh - Sarchu (Approx Distance 215 Km)

Bid adieu to Leh and begin your ride. En-route, you will see Pang, a scenic spot in Ladakh's landscape. Halt at Sarchu. Sarchu lies in the middle of the two beautiful destinations, Manali and Leh.

Day 8 : Sarchu - Manali (Approx Distance 215 Km)

In the morning, begin your drive through the Sarchu plain and reach the Baralaccha plain till noon. Enjoy the beauty crossing through Lahaul ranges and reach Rohtang pass. Rohtang pass will challenge you with mini-rivers of mud. Ride through the obstacles to reach Manali.

Day 9 : Manali (Departure)

This is the last day of the adventurous bike tour. We bid you adieu with fond memories of your adventure in Ladakh.
